The NanoDefine (internal) Scientific Workshop took place in November 2015, entitled “Evaluation and Selection of the most suitable Measurement Techniques for Characterization and Classification of a nanomaterial according to the EC definition”.

NanoDefine experts will meet on the 17-18 November 2015 at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin to discuss the scientific progress of the ongoing work and results achieved after the first two project years.

On 9th September 2015, the United Kingdom's Royal Society of Chemistry in London's NanoSafety Group hosted a day-long event entitled “Working Safely with Nanomaterials in R&D Laboratories” for an audience of private sector, academia, and government representatives.
New Nano Definition Workshop planned – February 2016
The EU FP7 NanoDefine project together with pigments and fillers industry stakeholders Eurocolours and VdMI, is preparing an innovative workshop to discuss project developments that will benefit industrial end-users implementing EC recommendations on the definition of nanomaterial.
First public workshop of NanoDefine
The First NanoDefine Public Workshop on Classification of Materials according to the EU Nano-Definition, was held on 17 June 2015 at the Newhotel "Charlemagne" in Brussels .
Highlights from participation of NanoDefine in EuroNanoForum 2015
The first large scale NanoDefine dissemination event was held on 10-12 June 2015 during the ENF 2015 in Riga, Latvia.
